Monday, Monday....

This is what I feel like today on this Monday. Some days I am jealous of my cats. They can sleep all day and sleep all night and no one is worse for the wear. They look so comfortable just curled up on the couch that it makes me just want to do the same. However, on this Monday I have too much to do, but it is 2:30 in the afternoon and I have not accomplished much. I was going to mow the lawn this morning but everything is still pretty wet. I picked up a bunch of sticks in the back yard though. It is currently 58 degrees outside and I turned the heat on in here and set the temp to 68. It was just too cold! That is another reason I just wanted to curl up on the couch with my book and a blanket today. Call me crazy for turning the heat on in September but I would rather be comfortable and pay the money for the heat. I'll pinch my pennies in other areas of my life. Like my meal planning! Brett helped me plan some meals for this week, and as it turns out I only have to buy 5 things at the store for the next 7 suppers we are going to eat. The rest of the things we already have here. Now, if I could make my own spaghetti noodles then I would only have to buy 4 things :) I work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights this week. Tuesday is an extra 8 hour shift, we will see if they need me.

Well, back to my boring Monday and laundry here. See this is why I don't post very often because this is usually all my days consist of. Nothing exciting going on here! Except for my new blog design! I got tired of the red and wanted something a little lighter and fresher. Let me know what you think!
